Local authorities have ordered relevant forces to review the business registration and operational status of this jewelry store.

On the morning of July 17, sources told reporters that the People’s Committee of My Tho district had tasked the Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Planning with reviewing the business registration information, business type, and operational status of Hong Phuc Gold and Gemstone Company Limited (Hong Phuc Gold Shop).
Earlier, many residents and customers were surprised when this jewelry store closed its doors, accompanied by a notice of “temporary suspension of operations” from July 16 to September 19, but without specifying a reopening date. Subsequently, many people went to the jewelry store to “clarify the situation.”
On the morning of June 17, Hong Phuc Jewelry issued a new statement announcing the temporary suspension of its operations. The suspension period is due to restructuring and improvement of service quality.
On July 16, Hong Phuc Gold, Silver and Gemstone Company Limited (Le Loi Street, My Tho ward, Dong Thap province) posted a notice of temporary suspension of operations in front of its headquarters and shared it on social media.
The statement read:
According to the People’s Committee of My Tho district, the incident is receiving public attention and much unverified information and comments are circulating, which could cause panic and affect security, order, and the overall situation in the area.
Currently, local authorities have ordered relevant forces to assess the situation and deploy personnel to ensure security, order, and smooth traffic in the area surrounding Hong Phuc Jewelry. They have also requested Hong Phuc Gold and Gemstone Company Limited to cooperate, provide information to its customers, and carry out necessary procedures for the temporary suspension of its business operations.
The People’s Committee of My Tho district has tasked the Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Development with leading the review of business registration information, type, and operational status of Hong Phuc Gold and Gemstone Company Limited; and to guide the company in carrying out procedures for the temporary suspension of business activities in accordance with current regulations.
Hong Phuc Jewelry was also required to have staff regularly present at the premises to receive feedback and provide explanations to customers.
