This article details an upcoming charity fair in Tokyo where forfeited pawn items will be sold, with proceeds supporting community causes. It highlights the event’s scale and the variety of goods available.

The Jonan Pawnshop Cooperative Association (Ota Ward, Tokyo) will hold the “Shitchi’s Charity Fair,” selling forfeited pawn items and other goods, for three days from June 7 to 9 at the Ota Ward Industrial Plaza PIO. This fair will feature approximately 70,000 financial liquidation items, including forfeited pawns and new products, from pawnshops primarily in Tokyo’s Jonan area and the wider metropolitan region. The merchandise includes precious metals, watches, brand-name bags, furs, gold products, and leather goods.
For this 87th edition of the fair, a new second-hand appliance corner has been established. iPhones, digital cameras, Macs, and other items will be offered at special prices.
It is also anticipated that the weak yen may lead to a surge in purchases by visiting foreign tourists.
