This move marks KDT Diamond’s first step into the global market approximately two years after its corporate establishment in July 2023.
According to KDT Diamond, this completion has established the country’s only vertically integrated system, encompassing everything from CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) growth to cutting, polishing, and distribution. This is the first such case for a Korean company.

Surat is known as a global hub where over 95% of the world’s diamond cutting and polishing takes place. Based on this strategic location, KDT Diamond plans to establish a stable supply chain and expand its domestic and international client base.
The Indian factory is designed with a multi-story structure, equipped with CVD growth equipment, grading equipment, and advanced polishing lines.

“With the completion of the Indian factory, we have secured an annual production capacity of hundreds of thousands of carats. By introducing a quality control (QC) system that meets international standards, we have laid the groundwork for cooperation with global jewelry brands,” said a KDT Diamond official. “Based on our excellent technological capabilities and global network, we will accelerate our efforts to expand our global market share with the goal of an IPO in 2027.”

Meanwhile, KDT Diamond plans to establish overseas branches in key locations such as the United States, Hong Kong, and Singapore in the future, and expand partnerships with global jewelry and luxury brands.
