The American jewelry brand PASCAL has launched its “Octagonal Collection,” featuring watches with octagonal cases. The collection is now available at the PRINCIPE prive Omotesando store and the official online store.
The Octagonal Collection is based on the octagonal case shape often seen in vintage watches. The cases are made of stainless steel, and the dials feature finishes such as Clou de Paris patterned guilloché, woodgrain, and marble-style enamel.
The dial features a finely textured Clou de Paris pattern with regular, minute indentations. The same texture is applied to the octagonal bezel, creating a cohesive look from the case to the dial. Both the case and bracelet are made of stainless steel. The bracelet combines polished and brushed finishes, creating a design where the difference in finishing is perceptible. Lab-grown diamonds are placed at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions on the dial, serving as indices to ensure visibility.
The bezel features an enamel finish with Roman numeral indices. The numbers are arranged along the contour of the octagonal case, making the case shape visually clear. The dials adopt different patterns for each model, such as woodgrain, marble, and lapis lazuli motifs. The variations in patterns and colors allow for different expressions within the same collection. The combination of an enamel-finished bezel and a patterned dial results in a decorative yet well-balanced design.
The lab-grown diamonds used in this collection are of high quality, based on standards adopted by PASCAL. They possess the same crystal structure and brilliance as natural diamonds while being a material that considers environmental impact, adding a refined accent to the entire watch.
