BIZOUX, a brand known for its extensive collection of natural gemstones, is expanding its sustainable offerings with a new line of lab-grown alexandrite jewelry launching May 23. This release highlights the growing trend of ethically sourced, environmentally conscious alternatives in the luxury market.

BIZOUX, a jewelry brand handling over 100 types of natural color stones, will release new jewelry featuring lab-grown alexandrite on Friday, May 23, as part of its sustainable “Lab-Grown Gemstones” series.
The Lab-Grown series uses gemstones cultivated in laboratories. Since 2022, BIZOUX has been offering jewelry featuring various “Lab-Grown Color Stones” such as alexandrite and padparadscha sapphire, known for their high purity, quality color, and transparency.
This new release features jewelry made with “Lab-Grown Alexandrite,” realizing the gemstone often called the “king of gemstones” through lab cultivation. The process involves meticulously recrystallizing the original ore, which is rarely available on the market, over an extended period by recreating the underground environment where crystals naturally form. The gemstones used in the new pieces fully showcase alexandrite’s most distinctive feature: the dramatic color change from green to burgundy (a deep red) depending on the light source.

“Topanaile Merle” is a jewelry piece featuring a line of 16 lab-grown alexandrites. It is characterized by its colorful line and the luster of polished precious metal, creating a stylish contrast through the overlapping of different shines.
– Alexandrite (Lab-Grown) Silver 925 Ring・Topanaile Merle

The piece features a plump, rounded silhouette that fits comfortably on the skin. With a width of approximately 6.3 mm, it offers a voluminous presence. By adorning a masculine-looking wide-band jewelry piece with color stones, it achieves an elegant detail without coarseness. Its large yet refined form harmonizes beautifully with any item it’s paired with. The handsome width and shine bring “sophistication” and “freshness” to any outfit.
While lab-grown gemstones primarily garner attention for colorless diamonds, BIZOUX has been developing its Lab-Grown Color Stone series since 2022, focusing on rare color stones.
The series centers on rare stones such as “Alexandrite” and “Padparadscha Sapphire” (among the world’s three major rare stones), as well as “Blue Diamond” and “Pink Diamond,” which are scarcely found in nature. BIZOUX has been delivering these as jewelry using lab-grown gemstones, making accessible stones that are popular for their special hues and brilliance but are difficult to produce in jewelry lots due to their high rarity or challenging price points for jewelry crafting.
