A total of 148 lots, all seized from drug trafficking, will be the focus of an auction organized by the Ministry of Health through the Government Delegation for the National Plan on Drugs (DGPNSD) until December 4. As reported in the press release, all proceeds from the sale of these high-end watches and jewelry will be allocated to “programs for the prevention, assistance, and social and labor integration of drug addicts.”

Escrapalia is the online platform chosen to conduct this auction, which offers 23 lots of high jewelry, 33 with exclusive watches, and 92 of jewelry and costume jewelry items. The starting prices cater to all budgets, ranging from 50 to 150 euros. Some are sold in packs, such as a Michael Kors watch, a Polar watch, and two Spreedometer bracelets—brands of ‘affordable luxury’ with a starting price of 50 euros.
Items with higher value are sold individually, such as Rolex, Bulgari, or Festina gold watches.

To ensure the proper functioning of the auction, a security deposit is required to place bids, guaranteeing the bidder’s commitment. The deposit is refunded at the end of the event if no lot is won. If the bidder is successful, the deposit is deducted from the total payment or refunded after the goods are collected.
Undoubtedly, the most sought-after items have been the luxury watches, which have been the most successful among bidders. Notable examples include a Rolex Datejust in steel and rose gold, which has already reached 2,701 euros with 66 bids, and another from the same brand, a Submariner model in steel with a black dial, which has reached 3,201 euros.

Among the other auctioned items are rings, link bracelets, earrings, and chains, mostly 18-karat gold, some with precious stones. However, all items must be collected in Madrid, as indicated on the auction website.
