The development of a dedicated Jewellery Park in Meerut promises to transform the local industry, offering benefits for both businesses and consumers through enhanced purity standards and competitive pricing. This initiative marks a strategic move to establish Meerut as a prominent jewellery hub.

The construction of a Jewellery Park in Meerut will not only provide new momentum to the business of jewellers but will also benefit consumers with purity and better prices. Experts believe this park will prove to be a significant step towards making Meerut a jewellery hub.
If we talk about Meerut, the ‘Land of Revolution’, its Sarafa (bullion) market holds a prominent position in Asia. The demand for jewellery made in Meerut exists not only within the country but also abroad. Keeping this in mind, the Sarafa traders of Meerut have been demanding a ‘Jewellery Park’ here for many years so that customers can get better jewellery at cheaper rates. On this issue, the Local-18 team had a special conversation with Vijay Anand Agrawal, General Secretary of the Meerut Sarafa Market Association.
Vijay Anand Agrawal stated that looking at the current circumstances, there is hope that the dream of a Jewellery Park will be fulfilled soon. There is considerable support from political corridors for the demand to build the Jewellery Park. A meeting had also been held with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding this matter. Recently, a meeting of ‘Udyog Bandhu’ (Industry Friend) was held with the Meerut Development Authority.
It should be noted that after the Jewellery Park is built, every activity related to jewellery will be possible under one roof. This will save time and cost in jewellery making, benefiting every class.
