Editor’s Note
The second wave of Disney Lorcana starter decks has arrived at specialty stores, with wider retail availability beginning December 1. A reprint of the first wave is also expected soon, improving overall card access for players.

We have already received the first starter decks of the second wave of Ravensburger’s hit of the year, “Disney Lorcana,” from Ravensburger. The sets are already available in specialty stores and are set to land in the broader retail market from December 1st. A reprint of the first wave of decks is also expected to appear soon, so that everyone who wants to play the game can also get cards.

In “Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn,” the second card set of the Disney Lorcana TCG, players explore the dark origins of the Floodborn Glimmers. These are Disney characters transformed by a mysterious flood of magical ink.

The story leads the Illumineers and Glimmers beyond the borders of the Great Illuminarium, which was damaged by a flood of magical ink. Six different ink types – Amber, Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, and Steel – were released in a confused and chaotic manner. When the Glimmers of the Storyborn and Dreamborn came into contact with this mixed ink, they underwent a powerful transformation, turning them into Floodborn Glimmers. As the magical ink flowed out of the Illuminarium, significant legends were also swept along, including the powerful trident of King Triton from the Disney universe.

The “Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn” set expands the game with over 200 new cards. These include characters like Winnie the Pooh and Tiana, as well as cards based on popular Disney stories such as “The Jungle Book,” “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “The Great Mouse Detective,” “Pinocchio,” “Zootopia,” and “Raya and the Last Dragon.”
