BVLGARI

Italian luxury jewelry brand BVLGARI has announced the appointment of Domenico Giampà as Director of Fragrance Business, who will also serve as Director for Italy and Southern Europe.

In his new role, he will be responsible for the commercial strategy of Bvlgari’s fragrance business, strengthening the brand’s presence in selective and direct retail channels, and driving growth for core and high-end product lines, aiming to consolidate Bvlgari’s position in the high-end fragrance sector.

Domenico Giampà joined Bvlgari Parfums Italy in 1995 as Chief Financial Officer and became Fragrance Sales Director in 2004. From 2008 to 2010, while overseeing the fragrance business, he also served as Wholesale Sales Director for Bvlgari’s jewelry and watch businesses.

With over thirty years of experience in the beauty industry, Domenico Giampà has contributed to consolidating Bvlgari’s position in selective channels, establishing strategic partnerships with key market players, and enhancing the market position of Bvlgari fragrances in the luxury sector.

L’OCCITANE Group

French skincare group L’OCCITANE has appointed Mark Edington as General Manager for Travel Retail in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and Americas regions, effective immediately.

Mark Edington has over 25 years of leadership experience in luxury and lifestyle brand management and retail. His most recent role was Global Brand General Manager for Australian skincare brand Aesop, which he joined in 2019, previously serving as Global Business Development Director and Global Wholesale Business Leader.

Earlier in his career, Mark Edington served as General Manager for the Middle East, Africa, and Russia, and Global Travel Retail Business General Manager at Burberry. He also held the position of Senior Business Unit Manager for Dior Parfums (Parfums Christian Dior) in the UK and Ireland.

The Kooples

Verdoso, the French investment company and parent company of French accessible luxury fashion brand The Kooples, has announced that Arnaud Reytan will succeed Anne-Laure Couplet as the brand’s Chief Executive Officer.

Arnaud Reytan began his career at Carrefour, where he worked for nearly 12 years, rising to the position of Merchandise Planning Director before becoming Director of the Home & Culture division. In 2012, Reytan joined French home improvement retailer Brico Dépôt, holding management positions related to supply chain and information technology. In 2017, he joined home improvement retail giant Kingfisher as Transformation and IT Director. In 2018, he became Deputy General Manager of hypermarket chain Cora, and subsequently took the helm of kitchenware brand Howdens Cuisines in 2019.

Polimoda

Italian fashion and design institute Polimoda has appointed Niccolò Ricci, CEO of Stefano Ricci S.p.A., as its President for a three-year term. He also serves as a board member of Italian fashion fair group Pitti Immagine S.r.l., menswear company Enrico Mandelli S.p.A., and Polimoda.

Niccolò Ricci succeeds Ferruccio Ferragamo (President and Chairman of the Board of the Ferragamo Group), who served as President for twenty years. Under Ferruccio Ferragamo’s leadership, the school opened the Villa Favard campus in 2011 and the Manifattura Tabacchi campus in 2020.

“Polimoda’s future goals include strengthening dialogue with the fashion industry, cultivating professional talent for the coming decades, expanding educational resources through new course offerings, and enhancing connections with local institutions and international universities.”

Concurrently with the appointment of the new President, Polimoda’s board has been renewed. Current member representatives include:
