Bvlgari Korea has named Lee Jung-hak, formerly the Director of Greater China Travel Retail & Global Duty-Free at Bvlgari Hong Kong, as its new Managing Director. This appointment signals a strategic focus on leveraging regional expertise to strengthen the brand’s presence in the Korean market.

Bvlgari Korea has appointed Lee Jung-hak (age 39), former Director of Greater China Travel Retail & Global Duty-Free at Bvlgari Hong Kong SAR (Special Administrative Region), as its new Managing Director.

The new Managing Director, Lee Jung-hak, majored in Economics at Seoul National University and earned an MBA from the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania). He began his career at Korea Investment & Securities and worked until 2011 as a research analyst at Japan’s Sawakami Investment Trust.
In 2012, he joined the Watch & Jewelry Division of LVMH, the world’s largest luxury group. Over three years, he served as Sales Manager for Korea and Operations Manager for Japan at TAG Heuer Japan, and later as Area Sales & Global Duty-Free Director at the Hong Kong SAR branch. Subsequently, in 2015, he moved to Bvlgari, where he most recently held the positions of Director of Greater China Watch Development and Director of Greater China Travel Retail & Global Duty-Free at the Hong Kong SAR branch.

Bvlgari, which joined the LVMH group in March 2011, evaluated the new Managing Director, Lee Jung-hak, as the right person for the strategically important Korean market, which is showing rapid annual growth. The company cited his extensive knowledge and expertise in the Korean and Asian luxury markets, rich experience spanning sales and finance, and his track record in key positions within the LVMH group.
