The global benchmark auction house Phillips is set to host a dazzling jewelry feast in New York, eagerly anticipated by collectors amidst the ongoing fervor in the art and collectibles market. This event brings together a total of 105 precious works, featuring brands such as Tiffany & Co., Cartier, and BVLGARI, captivating visitors from the preview itself.
The New York Spring Jewelry Auction will officially commence at 10:00 AM EST on June 12 (10:00 PM HKT on June 12). The breathtaking jewelry pieces encompass a diverse range of styles, including antique, vintage, and contemporary designs, featuring signed jewelry, magnificent colored gemstones, and dazzling diamonds, much to the delight of jewelry enthusiasts. The preview in New York from June 8 to 11 is expected to create a sensation.
Leading the auction lots is the legendary ‘Etoile de Mer’ brooch created for Tiffany by master jeweler Jean Schlumberger, showcasing the brilliant radiance of sapphires, tsavorites, and diamonds. Coinciding with the launch of Tiffany’s 2025 Blue Book High Jewelry Collection, ‘Sea of Wonder’, whose inspiration stems from Schlumberger’s original 1960s designs, this starfish-shaped brooch carries extraordinary significance.
Rare gemstone pieces are also a focal point of this auction. A standout piece is a ring featuring a 13.36-carat, untreated step-cut Colombian emerald, accompanied by five certificates from SSEF, AGL, Gubelin, and GRS, including a certificate of origin and traceability from the Muzo mine—renowned as the source of the world’s finest emeralds. This piece is a dream collectible with an estimated value of USD 300,000 to 500,000.
Simultaneously, another highlight is a ring featuring a 3.03-carat radiant-cut fancy intense pink diamond as its center stone. Its substantial carat weight and intense color make it a standout among the diamond offerings, with an estimated price ranging from USD 1,200,000 to 1,600,000, approaching nearly NTD 50 million.
