Kishun Inc. (Headquarters: Taito-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shun Tsuji), a company engaged in the wholesale and retail of gemstones and jewelry, will exhibit at the International Jewelry Tokyo (IJT) held at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, January 14 to Saturday, January 17, 2026. Under the theme “DISCOVER,” the company will unveil for the first time an “industry-first” 5D experiential jewelry sales event that fuses “gemstones × 5D restaurant.”
In this project, the entire venue will be staged as a theatrical restaurant space. Through a presentation that makes gemstones appear as if they are being “cooked,” it will provide an immersive experience that integrates visual, auditory, tactile, and spatial elements. Realized through collaboration with the restaurant “elan vital,” this unprecedented exhibition style is expected to attract attention from both within and outside the industry.

The Catalyst for Collaboration

Jewelry exhibitions have traditionally been dominated by “sales-focused” booths, with limited opportunities for visitors to enjoy experiential elements or spaces that convey a brand’s philosophy and narrative. In response to this industry norm, Kishun Inc. has believed it necessary to reconsider the very value of gemstones and exhibitions from a different perspective.
The company’s founding philosophy of being a “Reframing Company” represents its stance of not being bound by preconceptions and re-examining things within new frameworks. Its journey of discovering new value in colored stones once deemed “worthless” is a manifestation of this thinking.
This time, the company is challenging itself to create a new purchasing experience that goes beyond merely being a place to “buy gemstones,” allowing visitors to savor the visual, spatial, experiential, and worldview aspects themselves.

DISCOVER

Through repeated fusion of the jewelry and food service industries, a unique creation was born: tableware made with real gemstones.

“We wanted to evolve gemstones from objects merely for appreciation into ‘the experience itself’ that colors life’s moments.”

Starting from this idea, multiple collaborative pieces were created, ranging from plates and glasses to cutlery. By combining the different materials of gemstones and cuisine, they express an unprecedented experiential worldview, such as “selecting gemstones as if tasting them” and “gemstones being cooked.” Through a presentation that stimulates the five senses, they discovered encounters with the new value of gemstones.

Collaboration between Kishun Inc. and elan vital

“elan vital” is a restaurant located in Kita-Sando (Yoyogi), Tokyo. As a “5D restaurant” that fuses scientifically-inspired cooking methods with projection mapping, it provides an immersive dining experience that stimulates the five senses by combining cuisine with video and sound.
Its approach of finding value in “experience” and “emotion” through food and pursuing expressions that appeal to the senses is reflected in its cuisine and spatial presentations that cherish the background and story of ingredients, bringing new emotions and discoveries to visitors.
This attitude of valuing the background and narrative of materials and infusing thought into each dish strongly resonates with Kishun’s philosophy of discerning the value of materials and passing it on to the next generation.
Under the shared theme of “delivering value as an experience,” this collaboration will combine space, presentation, and sensibility to create an unprecedented exhibition experience.
