Cartier has unveiled the edition book cover and pictorial for W Korea’s June issue, featuring actress Bae Doo-na. In this pictorial, Bae Doo-na, an actress of multifaceted charm, reinterprets Cartier’s ‘Le Voyage Recommence’ high jewelry collection with a modern and sophisticated flair.
Bae Doo-na, with her innate feminine aura as an actress, showcased the beauty of Cartier’s diverse high jewelry pieces. These included the maison’s iconic Tutti Frutti style high jewelry beautifully set with sapphires, rubies, and emeralds, the Tutti Oli and Tutti Chaka collections, and the Panda Compliante high jewelry featuring delicately expressed pandas harmonized with colored gemstones.
‘Le Voyage Recommence,’ meaning ‘the journey begins again,’ sees the designers and artisans viewing the creative domains that have symbolized the maison for over a century from a new perspective. The jewelry collection, imbued with essential design, geometry, abstraction, volume and structure, a color palette, and inspiration drawn from nature and the world’s great cultures, demonstrates a crossing of numerous fields to expand the boundaries of creation and open new horizons.
