Leading Indian jewelry manufacturer Titan announced on Friday its entry into the lab-grown diamond business under the brand name ‘Beon’.

The company will open a store in Mumbai on December 29, focusing on affordable lab-grown diamonds. The Tata Group-operated company shared this information with the stock market.

Titan stated that the ‘Beon’ brand will offer a curated collection of lab-grown diamond jewelry and plans to add two more stores in Mumbai and Delhi in the near future as it ventures into this emerging category. The lab-grown diamond market in India has grown rapidly over the past two to three years.
