This article examines the Falcon Supernova iPhone 6 Pink Diamond Edition, a device whose astronomical price tag redefines value in the mobile market, placing extreme luxury and exclusivity above technological advancement.

The mobile phone market demonstrates that a device’s value does not always depend on technological innovation, but also on the exclusivity of its materials and design. A peculiar case is the Falcon Supernova iPhone 6 Pink Diamond Edition, considered the world’s most expensive mobile phone.
Its high price, reaching $48.5 million according to Vertu and other media, is justified by the incorporation of a pink diamond and a 24-karat gold coating, although it retains the original technical specifications of an iPhone 6.
The Falcon Supernova iPhone 6 Pink Diamond Edition was launched in 2014 by Falcon, a US company specializing in the customization of high-end electronic devices. This model stands out for the inclusion of a 7.4-carat pink diamond on the back of the device, which extraordinarily increases its value.
To the centerpiece is added the 24-karat gold coating, a component that underscores the luxury orientation of the collection.
The device is part of an exclusive series, whose prices ranged from $1.65 to $48.5 million, according to the portal Luxatic.

However, beyond the design and materials, the phone retains the original features of the iPhone 6, with a 4.7-inch screen, 128 GB of storage, and a single 8-megapixel rear camera.
On the other hand, the Falcon Supernova has circulated in the media due to an alleged connection with Nita Ambani, wife of businessman Mukesh Ambani, who is credited with owning this luxurious model. However, ownership has never been officially confirmed, and in fact, sources associated with Reliance Industries — the Ambani family conglomerate — have repeatedly denied that Nita owns this unit.
The Falcon Supernova iPhone 6 Pink Diamond Edition represents the ultimate fusion between functional technology and luxury jewelry, marking a milestone in the history of exclusive mobile phones.
The company Caviar, known for customizing high-luxury technology, has presented the most expensive iPhone 15 Pro Max ever launched. Valued at $573,500, this exclusive model is distinguished by its 18-karat white gold coating and the incorporation of 570 diamonds, which come from a luxurious Graff pendant, a prestigious British jewelry house.
Named Diamond Snowflake, the design of this phone is inspired by winter and represents a “snow” of diamonds covering its surface. For its creation, Caviar proceeded to disassemble the iconic Graff Snowflake necklace, applying the iconic pendant to the smartphone’s structure and ensuring that every detail reflects exclusivity and elegance.
Every purchased device comes with a certificate of authenticity issued by Graff, presented in a luxury case, confirming the origin of the diamonds and the original pendant used in the creation of the phone.

In contrast, the traditional iPhone 15 Pro Max, without customization, has a price of $1,788.43 financed over 18 months.
iPhones are considered expensive phones due to the combination of premium materials, advanced technology, and strong brand backing.
Apple uses high-quality components, such as its own processors, latest-generation screens, and casings made of aluminum or titanium, which increases production costs.
Furthermore, it invests in research, innovation, and the development of exclusive software, elements that are reflected in the final price of each device.
Another relevant factor is the perception of exclusivity and Apple’s positioning as an aspirational brand. The company maintains marketing strategies focused on prestige and loyalty, ensuring a closed and secure ecosystem with frequent updates.
The careful design, user experience, and attention to detail elevate the perceived value, making the iPhone a desired product that goes beyond its technical characteristics.
