ExtenD, Diamond Quanta of Silicon Valley Sign Strategic Technology Partnership in Diamond Optics

ExtenD Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tosu City, Saga Prefecture; President: Mitsuru Kitai) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Diamond Quanta, Inc., based in Mountain View, California, USA, regarding a strategic technology partnership in the field of diamond optical products.

Through this partnership, ExtenD will participate as a strategic technology partner in Diamond Quanta’s diamond optical product line. The companies will build a co-creation technology platform by leveraging ExtenD’s “uniform diamond film formation technology from nano to polycrystalline” based on its proprietary large-scale Hot Filament CVD (HFCVD) technology.

Furthermore, through collaboration with Heller Industries, Inc. (Headquarters: New Jersey, USA), Diamond Quanta’s system ODM/integrator, a seamless supply chain from R&D to mass production will be established. This will strengthen the manufacturing system for optical applications and pave the way for global mass production.
