A 15.48-carat pink diamond, the “Pink Supreme,” led Christie’s recent Hong Kong auction, selling for €9.9 million. This article details the highlights and results of the “Magnificent Jewels” sale.

A ring featuring a 15.48-carat diamond known as the Pink Supreme was the star of Christie’s recent jewelry auction in Hong Kong, achieving a price of €9.9 million.

The cushion brilliant-cut, fancy-intense-pink-IF diamond was one of several colored diamonds among the top five lots of the “Magnificent Jewels” auction on November 27. The sale price fell within the piece’s pre-sale estimate range of €8 to €11.7 million. In total, Christie’s realized €57.9 million from the sale.

This ring, set with a modified pear brilliant-cut, 3.51-carat, Fancy-Vivid-Blue-VS2 diamond surrounded by round brilliants, fetched €5.9 million, landing within its estimate.
Christie’s sold this ring, which contains two blue diamonds – a 2.01-carat fancy-vivid-blue and a 2-carat fancy-intense-blue stone – for €4.3 million. The piece, which also features a 2-carat fancy-vivid pink diamond and a 1.01-carat fancy-intense-purple-pink diamond, sold within its pre-sale estimate range.

A necklace with a diamond pendant featuring a modified pear brilliant-cut, 40.05-carat, D-flawless diamond, with pink diamonds in pear and brilliant cuts as well as marquise and briolette-cut diamonds on the chain, brought in €4.2 million, just below the high estimate.
An unmounted brilliant-cut diamond, 38.88 carats, D-flawless, achieved €3.6 million, placing it in the middle of its estimate range.
