This article announces the opening of a major gemstone exhibition in Beijing, highlighting its organizers and the scale of the collection on public display.

On December 20, 2025, the “Treasures of the Earth, Splendor of Humanity – 2025 Colorful Yunnan Colored Gemstone Festival” grandly opened in Beijing. The exhibition is jointly organized by Beijing Colorful Yunnan Commerce & Trade Co., Ltd. and the China Gems & Jewelry Trade Association (Beijing) Foundation Management Co., Ltd. During the nine-day exhibition period, the public will have the opportunity to appreciate up close over 300 pieces of jewelry and art gem artworks across various categories, including ruby, sapphire, and emerald.
At the opening ceremony, Sha Nali, Vice Secretary-General of the China Gems & Jade Jewelry Industry Association, pointed out that China’s colored gemstone consumption market is currently demonstrating strong vitality and immense potential. The healthy and sustainable development of the industry is inseparable from cultural guidance, standard construction, and market regulation. He stated:
As the main organizer, Yan Lulu, General Manager of Beijing Colorful Yunnan Commerce & Trade Co., Ltd., reviewed the series of exhibitions held throughout 2025 in Beijing with jade culture as the main theme, noting that this gemstone festival is an important finale and expansion of the brand’s cultural matrix.
Yan Lulu emphasized,
Following the opening ceremony, a “Master Forum” themed “New Cycle, New Value: Opportunities and Future of China’s Colored Gemstone Market” was held. Special guests He Xuanxuan, Tan Ping, Zhang Jian, and Zhan Yifeng, Deputy General Manager of Colorful Yunnan’s Gemstone Division, engaged in in-depth dialogue from four dimensions: academia, investment, testing, and the market. Experts unanimously agreed that the market is currently entering a new stage characterized by “professional cognition-driven value discovery.” Consumers are no longer satisfied with aesthetic beauty alone but are increasingly concerned about the gemstone’s origin and sourcing, appraisal and certification, design heritage, and asset attributes. Therefore, in the “new cycle,” a more transparent, standardized, and healthy industry ecosystem should be constructed through collaboration between industry, academia, and research, thereby unleashing the long-term “new value” of China’s colored gemstone market.
As a top-tier gemstone feast integrating natural wonders, scientific knowledge, and artistic aesthetics, this exhibition broke through the traditional display model of gem exhibitions. It innovatively created three major themed immersive exhibition areas: “Heart of Passion” (red gemstones), “Eyes of Tranquility” (blue gemstones), and “Soul of the Earth” (green gemstones). Through artistic spatial design, scenographic narrative display, and interactive multimedia installations, it vividly recounted the scientific and humanistic stories of gems from their geological nurturing to cutting and polishing into jewelry, providing visitors with an experience that is both visually stunning and intellectually inspiring.
During the exhibition period, the organizers also specially arranged a professional lecture titled “Appreciation and Collection of Colored Gemstones,” delivered by Professor He Xuanxuan from China University of Geosciences (Beijing), providing systematic professional knowledge guidance for enthusiasts and elevating the public’s aesthetic experience to new heights.
The exhibition will continue until December 28.
