Unknown perpetrators broke into a semi-detached house in Alstaden and stole jewelry, watches, and cash. Police registered a total of ten residential burglaries in the first week of September.

Unknown perpetrators broke into a semi-detached house in the Oberhausen district of Alstaden on Saturday, September 6, 2025. According to police, the burglars gained access by first pushing up the blinds of a kitchen window and then prying the window open. In this way, they entered the building.

Inside the house, the perpetrators searched cabinets and drawers in the living area. They stole jewelry, wristwatches, and cash. They then fled undetected via the entry route.

In the week from September 1 to 7, 2025, a total of ten residential burglaries were reported to the Oberhausen police.
