Details

A precious 11.95-carat diamond has been found in Panna, the city famous as ‘Ratnagarbha’ (womb of gems). The estimated value of this diamond is said to be around 50 lakh rupees or more. At the Panna Diamond Office, this diamond was deposited under the name of Madhav Adivasi. The dispute arose when two different individuals began presenting their claims over the diamond. Nisar Khan and another person have raised objections. Authorities have now assured an investigation into the matter.

Partnership Details

In the matter, Pushpendra Tiwari stated that this diamond was found in a shallow mine in Hirapur. He informed that in July 2024, he, along with Nisar Khan and Shripal Jain, started mining work in Hirapur. In the partnership among the three, Pushpendra had a 70% share, Nisar had 20%, and Shripal had 10%.

Diamond Deposit

It is noted that Madhav Adivasi, also known as Ramsingh, used to get work done for them through laborers. A few days later, he disappeared from work. On July 8, 2025, he suddenly deposited this diamond.

Lease and Discovery Coincide

According to Diamond Officer Ravi Patel in the matter, Madhav Adivasi deposited this diamond under the name of the shallow diamond mine of Krishna Kalyānpur. The key point is that the lease for the mine under whose name the diamond was deposited was also issued on the very same day.
