The youth has deposited the diamond at the Panna diamond office. It will now be auctioned. From the proceeds, 12.5 percent will be deducted as royalty, and the remaining amount will be given to the laborer.
A tribal youth working in the shallow mine of Krishna Kalyanpur patti in Panna received a huge gift today when he found a precious diamond weighing 11 carats and 95 cents. This youth had gone to work in the mine for the first time, and his luck shone on the very first day.
Diamond officer Ravi Patel stated that this diamond is so clear and precious that its estimated value is being assessed at over 40 lakh rupees. Laborer Madhav has deposited it at the Panna diamond office as per regulations. This diamond will now be placed in an upcoming auction, and after deducting 12.5 percent royalty from the auction amount, the remaining sum will be given to laborer Madhav.
Panna district in Madhya Pradesh is famous for its diamond mines. It is a major diamond-producing region in India. In Panna, diamonds are found in alluvial deposits. Diamonds can be found just by digging a few feet in Panna. Panna diamonds are known for their high quality.
