Titan Company Limited, India’s largest jewelry retailer, has announced its entry into the rapidly growing lab-grown diamond (LGD) segment. The company has launched the new brand ‘beYon’ and will open its first exclusive store in Mumbai on December 29. This move signifies a strategic expansion beyond Titan’s traditional jewelry offerings.

According to regulatory filings, beYon – House of Titan will focus on affordable, lifestyle-oriented lab-grown diamond jewelry. The brand will target women seeking modern jewelry options beyond categories like watches, perfumes, sarees, and handbags. This Mumbai store will be the brand’s debut location, with plans to open more stores in Mumbai and Delhi soon.

“The new brand will present a curated range of LGD jewelry, offering sustainable, ethical, and affordable options, keeping in mind the growing consumer interest,” Titan said.

Lab-grown diamonds have gained popularity in India over the past few years, supported by increasing awareness and retail acceptance.

Market Context and Growth

According to industry estimates, India’s diamond jewelry market is worth approximately USD 6.2 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach USD 8.6 billion by 2028. While the share of lab-grown diamonds is currently around USD 400 million, this segment is likely to continue its rapid growth.

Strategic Expansion

Titan’s move comes after its recently announced long-term partnership with the De Beers Group and reflects the company’s intent to strengthen its leadership in emerging jewelry categories.
