The retail jewelry and watch sector in Spain achieved a turnover of €2.135 billion at the close of 2025, recording an annual growth of up to 6% compared to the previous year, according to the latest data compiled by Informa’s DBK Sectoral Observatory.
The observatory argues that the sector

and reaching estimated sales of €1.210 billion, 6.6% more than in 2023. Independent commerce, on the other hand, reduced its share to 19.1%, with €385 million, while large retail surfaces and other channels reached 21.0%.
In terms of product segmentation, jewelry and costume jewelry items concentrated 56% of sales, while watch products represented 39%. The rest of the offer, mainly silverware items and accessories, accounted for 5%.
The structure of the commercialized offer continues to be marked by the progressive reduction in the number of small independent retailers, as explained by the observatory, only partially compensated by the growth of establishments integrated into chains. At the end of 2024, there were approximately 8,700 specialized points of sale operating in Spain, a figure that maintains a downward trend. To the offer of physical stores is added the growing offer of specialized stores in the online channel, as well as sales through large retail surfaces.
The retail jewelry and watch market in Spain closed 2024 with a value of €2.020 billion, representing growth of 6.3% compared to the previous year. This evolution confirmed the positive trend that began in 2022, when business increased by 16.7%, followed by an advance of 8.6% in 2023.
