There is good news for youth waiting for government jobs. Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) has released a new recruitment notification for Plant Assistant posts for the year 2025. For candidates seeking a permanent job in a government department, this is an excellent opportunity, as this recruitment offers a good salary, career growth, and all the facilities of the state government.
If you have completed your 10th grade and ITI education, you can apply for this recruitment. The company has set the online application process from December 1, 2025, to December 30, 2025. Therefore, candidates should keep their documents ready and be sure to apply within the stipulated time.
A total of 90 posts will be filled through this recruitment. These posts are divided into two different trades: Mechanical and Electrical. This includes 53 posts in the Mechanical trade and recruitment will be for 37 posts in the Electrical trade.
To apply for these posts, the candidate must have passed the 10th grade from a recognized board. It is mandatory to have a regular ITI pass from NCVT or SCVT in any related trade such as Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, Wireman, etc. Additionally, in ITI, UR and MP-OBC should have 65 percent, MPPGCL employees 60 percent, and SC, ST, EWS, and PwBD should have 55 percent. Please note, only ITI done from recognized institutions will be valid.
Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from Rs 25,300 to Rs 80,500 per month according to the Level-6 pay matrix. Initially, candidates will have to complete a probation period of 9 months. During this time, not the full salary, but a fixed percentage of the salary will be given as a stipend. Upon successful completion of probation, the full salary starts being paid.
A total of 100 multiple-choice questions will be asked in this recruitment exam. Out of these, 75 questions will be from the related trade and 25 questions will be from General Knowledge and General Aptitude. The entire exam will be of 100 marks. The type of questions in the exam will be objective and there will be no negative marking. The medium of examination will be both Hindi and English, so that candidates from all categories can be facilitated. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by students in the Computer Based Test (CBT), meaning selection will depend entirely on the performance obtained in the CBT.
