This profile explores the remarkable journey of an actor whose career took unexpected turns—from early cinematic rivalry to business success, and through a personal health battle to a resilient comeback. It’s a story of reinvention and perseverance beyond the silver screen.

Today we are going to tell you about an actor who was once a tough competitor to Rajinikanth. When his magic didn’t work in films, he made a name for himself in business. Not only that, he suffered a stroke, recovered from it, and then made a powerful comeback.
The actor we are talking about is Tamil film hero Arvind Swamy, who has delivered many powerful performances in his career.

Arvind Swamy’s parents were industrialists. Mani Ratnam spotted him during an advertisement and then offered him the film ‘Thalapathi’, which starred Rajinikanth and Mammootty. However, the turning point in his career came with the 1992 film ‘Roja’ and the 1995 film ‘Bombay’.
Meanwhile, pan-India stardom came to him from Priyadarshan’s film ‘Saat Rang Ke Sapne’, in which Juhi Chawla was in the lead role alongside him. The film didn’t do well and everyone thought Arvind’s career ended right there.

Arvind then decided to play a second innings by taking over his father’s company. According to reports, Arvind was the Chairman and Managing Director of the company. In 2005, he started his own company again.
However, then came an earthquake in Arvind’s life when he suffered an injury to his spine, which caused him to suffer a minor stroke.

After this, Arvind made a comeback with ‘Kadal’ in 2013 after recovering from his injury. Not only that, after this he did films like ‘Dhruva’, ‘Thalaivi’.
Recently, Arvind was seen in the film ‘Tanvi The Great’, which is a Hindi film and was directed by Anupam Kher.
