[Seoul=Newspim] Reporter Noh Yeon-kyung = SSG.com announced on the 9th that it will exclusively sell a pink lab-grown diamond collection co-developed with the jewelry brand ‘Dorothy’.
Pink lab-grown diamonds are realized by cultivating natural pink diamonds, considered among the world’s rarest gemstones, within a laboratory.

The pink lab-grown diamond jewelry being introduced this time consists of a total of 13 items, characterized by designs that can be comfortably worn in daily life.
Representative products include classic ring earrings, drop necklaces with fruit motif designs, and bracelets shaped like flowers. Through its own shopping video curation service ‘SSG.TV’, it will also present ‘MD Talk’ videos that vividly capture color, sparkle, and size.
Both companies sympathized with the purpose of ‘wanting the rarest gemstone to be enjoyed in everyday life’ and began joint product planning in June.
They also considered the fact that the lab-grown jewelry market is growing rapidly as more customers pursue ethical and reasonable consumption.
Accordingly, SSG.com plans to expand the number of products (SKUs) within its lab-grown diamond specialty section, opened late last year, to about 1,000 within the year.
Through collaborations with leading brands, it also plans to introduce lab-grown colored gemstone jewelry lines, including sapphire, ruby, and emerald.
