This article highlights a successful export initiative by Iksan’s precious metal and jewelry sector, supported by a local government project aimed at enhancing global market presence.

Iksan City announced on the 26th that eight precious metal and jewelry sales companies from the city participated in the 2019 Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from the 18th to the 22nd, achieving export contracts worth approximately 18 billion won.
The Hong Kong International Jewellery Show is a major event attended by global jewelry specialist buyers, with participation from over 3,700 companies from about 50 countries and regions.
The eight participating companies—Shilla Jewelry Co., Ltd., Segwang Gold, Global Comex, Entre Jewelry Co., Ltd., Herinove Co., Ltd., Iksan Chain Co., Ltd., In A Jewelry, and Classé International Co., Ltd.—successfully promoted Iksan’s excellent precious metal and jewelry craftsmanship to buyers and visitors, achieving their goal of pioneering new export channels.
Meanwhile, Iksan City supports participating companies each year by covering costs such as booth rental fees and special pavilion installation fees for the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, aiming to strengthen the global competitiveness of the local precious metal and jewelry industry and lay the groundwork for overseas market expansion.
