LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has announced the appointment of Laura Burdese as the new Chief Executive Officer of its Italian luxury jewelry brand, Bvlgari. Burdese, an Italian national, succeeds Jean-Christophe Babin, who is stepping down after leading the brand for over a decade.
This leadership change is part of LVMH’s strategic management of its Watches and Jewelry division, which includes high-profile brands like Tiffany & Co., TAG Heuer, and Hublot. The move is seen as reinforcing the group’s focus on nurturing internal talent and ensuring strong brand-specific leadership.
Laura Burdese has a long-standing career within the LVMH group. She is known for her deep understanding of the luxury market and her experience in brand management and operational excellence.
Her appointment is effective immediately, and she will be based at Bvlgari’s headquarters in Rome, Italy.
