The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is inviting Indonesian businesses to participate in major international trade exhibitions in Hong Kong this March and April.
Samuel Cheng, HKTDC Associate Director of Business Development, Exhibitions and Digital Business, said these exhibitions provide Indonesian buyers with strategic platforms to discover new products and connect with global suppliers.
he said at a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Cheng noted that these fairs allow Indonesian distributors and retailers to explore supply chains from international industry players.
He added that the HKTDC welcomes increased participation from Indonesian companies in 2026, positioning Hong Kong as a vital global trade hub.
The featured fairs include the HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show, HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, HKTDC Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Fashion InStyle, Home InStyle, Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair, as well as DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong.
The twin jewellery shows, namely the 42nd HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, and the 12th HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show, themed “Fusion of Dazzling Beauty”, will open in March.
In 2025, these fairs attracted 82,000 buyers from 141 countries and roughly 4,000 exhibitors from over 40 countries.
Several Indonesian companies, including PT Lotus Lingga Pratama, PT Hartono Wira Tanik, PT Bagong Sejahtera Abadi, Untung Bersama Sejahtera, and UC Silver Bali, are set to participate.
Cheng emphasized that Indonesia is an important partner in the ASEAN region. In 2024, Indonesia was Hong Kong’s 22nd largest trading partner globally and 6th within ASEAN.
Total trade between the two reached over US$4.7 billion, with Hong Kong’s exports to Indonesia exceeding US$2.5 billion and imports from Indonesia reaching approximately US$2.2 billion.
