A series of captivating events has been rolled out, creating a buzz for the holiday season. The opening gathered numerous VIP guests, media from Mainland China and Hong Kong, and fashion influencers. Curated Contemporary Jewelry Brands

The first phase of this special series features a curation of contemporary high jewelry brands, each interpreting a relentless pursuit of creativity and excellence with unique design philosophies. Participating brands include State Property, YEPREM, Claudia Ma Fine Jewellery, Mio Harutaka, and KORLOFF.

Expert Insights and Interactive Workshops

The exclusive event also featured workshops and interactive art experiences led by experts including Jodine Bolden, Director of Diamond Education, and Samantha Sibley, R&D Scientist, from the De Beers Institute of Diamonds; GIA Graduate Gemologist, veteran media personality, designer, and fashion influencer Li Pengbo; renowned master of geomancy and feng shui science, Dr. Chan Tsz Choi; and London-based multidisciplinary artist Annette Fernando. They guided guests in exploring the extraordinary world of natural diamonds from diverse perspectives.
In the Natural Diamond Workshop, guests gained hands-on experience in rough diamond sorting, polished diamond grading, and learned how to distinguish natural diamonds from laboratory-grown diamonds. Special guests Charmaine Sheh and Hilary Tsui also experienced the allure of natural diamonds firsthand under the guidance of De Beers Institute of Diamonds mentors.

Exhibition of Rare Natural Diamond Rough

Three precious natural diamond rough stones sourced by De Beers Group were specially displayed: one weighing approximately 297 carats, a 22-carat stone embedded in kimberlite rock, and an extremely rare 0.329-carat rough named the “Beating Heart.” This last stone features a smaller diamond freely moving inside, creating a unique “diamond within a diamond” structure, vividly illustrating the extraordinary geological miracle of natural diamond formation. This remarkable rough was professionally analyzed by the De Beers Institute of Diamonds, with its journey from origin fully traced and recorded on the Tracr blockchain platform. Participants in the workshop received a certification from the De Beers Institute of Diamonds.

Artistic Interpretation

Beyond the professional insights from the De Beers Institute of Diamonds, London-based multidisciplinary artist Annette Fernando presented her artwork “The Multi-Faceted Self,” inspired by the transformative journey of natural diamonds. Through a philosophical coloring workshop, she invited participants to use the metaphor of a diamond’s transformation to explore personal growth and inner resilience.

Brand Perspectives on Natural Diamonds
“The emotional density contained within natural diamonds is irreplaceable by any other material. They are rare, beautiful, and resilient; each one holds the story of the earth and is a crystallization of time. We are always drawn to this meaningful material because diamonds symbolize eternity, memory, and a sense of quiet, luxurious beauty that comes with the passage of time. At State Property, we hope this power is reflected in every piece of jewelry crafted with sincerity, designed to transcend time and be treasured across generations,” shared State Property.
“Natural diamonds are the purest and most resilient symbols, qualities that also reflect YEPREM’s brand journey and craft spirit. Each natural diamond is born from the tempering of time and pressure, containing transformative energy and inner strength. Their innate brilliance and purity not only transcend trends and shine for generations but also convey emotions and express personality. In the world of YEPREM, natural diamonds are not merely materials; they are the core that carries resilience, radiance, and stories,” shared YEPREM.
“Craftsmanship is the soul of jewelry creation; it determines almost everything about a piece. Every detail relies on the artisan’s skill. It is precisely because of this exquisite craftsmanship that I welcome everyone to appreciate and feel the details of my work up close. I have always believed that only craftsmanship that can withstand scrutiny can present the beauty of jewelry design in the most moving way,” shared designer Harutaka of Mio Harutaka.
“Our story began with the world’s largest brilliant-cut natural black diamond—the Black Korloff. Having undergone millions of years of unique transformation, it serves as a daily source of inspiration for us, symbolizing the mysterious, vibrant, and ever-changing power of nature. Natural diamonds possess an authentic texture and profound depth that cannot be replicated by other materials. They remind us that beauty is shaped by time, natural pressure, and light—forces that also permeate the creation of every Korloff jewelry piece,” shared KORLOFF.

“Natural diamonds and craftsmanship are inseparable. Good craftsmanship allows a diamond’s inner light to shine, while design presents this eternal beauty in a modern way, passing it on for more people to appreciate. Without the support of craftsmanship, even the most precious diamond remains a buried treasure,” shared Claudia Ma of Claudia Ma Fine Jewellery.
