This year’s premier Hong Kong jewelry trade events, organized by the HKTDC, adopt a dual-venue format. The Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show runs March 2-6 at AsiaWorld-Expo, followed by the International Jewellery Show from March 4-8 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, offering a comprehensive marketplace for the global industry.

The world’s largest one-stop jewelry trading platform, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will kick off in early March in a “two exhibitions, two venues” format. From March 2 to 6, the 12th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show will be held at the AsiaWorld-Expo, displaying various types of gemstone rough materials. From March 4 to 8, the 42nd Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, showcasing the latest jewelry masterpieces.
Margaret Fong, Executive Director of the HKTDC, stated that this year’s dual jewelry exhibitions are expected to attract exhibitors from around 40 countries and regions, totaling approximately 4,000 exhibitors.
Over 40 exhibition groups will participate. The dual jewelry exhibitions have consistently received strong industry support. This year, over 40 exhibition groups will participate, including those from Mainland China, India, Japan, Myanmar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Israel, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States. The World Gold Council will set up its first-ever hard-foot gold exhibition hall, featuring 11 Mainland Chinese exhibitors showcasing innovative hard gold techniques to the international market, aiming to use the exhibitions as a “going global” platform to explore global business opportunities. Additionally, the Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association will participate as a group for the first time, and the Zhushan Green Pine Stone exhibition group from Hubei will make its debut. Associations such as the Jade & Stone Manufacturers Association, the Colored Gemstone Association, the Greater Bay Area Creative Designers Association, and the Asia Jewellery Culture & Design Craft Association will also continue their participation. The Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association will once again collaborate with the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) to set up a pavilion, displaying the latest equipment and technologies for jewelry manufacturing.
This year’s exhibitions will gather numerous jewelry pieces imbued with Eastern culture. During the exhibition period, multiple events related to Eastern aesthetic jewelry will be held. The Hong Kong International Jewellery Design Competition, organized by the Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association, encourages designers to create gold jewelry works that cater to the tastes of Eastern and Middle Eastern youth markets, integrating cultural connotations and commercial appeal. The award ceremony will be held during the exhibition. The award ceremony for the inaugural International Footwear Jewelry Design Competition 2026, organized by the Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association, will also take place during the exhibition.
This year’s Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition takes “The Uncharted Realm: The Beauty of Nature” as its theme, inspiring local students and industry elites to interpret the beauty of nature and design creativity through their works, highlighting the multifaceted nature of jewelry design. The competition results will be announced during the exhibition.
Regarding activities, the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will host a seminar titled “Where Does Jewellery Style Come From? Exploring the Imprint of Era and Craftsmanship,” specially inviting renowned British historian and jewelry authority Dr. Jack Ogden to give a keynote speech, providing an in-depth analysis of the evolution of jewelry craftsmanship and changes in era aesthetics.
During the dual jewelry exhibitions, over 20 industry seminars and exchange activities will be held, covering industry trends, online marketing, and jewelry technology. Among them, the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will analyze on its second day how artificial intelligence can move from design to commercialization, promoting the development of the jewelry industry. Additionally, the event will arrange discussion sessions where online influencers will share how to use e-commerce platforms to enhance the influence of jewelry brands, increase sales, and share practical experiences, helping the industry accelerate the integration of online and offline collaborative sales channels.
Furthermore, to continuously optimize the experience for buyers from around the world coming to Hong Kong for sourcing, the HKTDC, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Tourism Board and multiple enterprises, has launched exclusive buyer benefits covering dining, air tickets, hotels, etc., allowing buyers visiting the dual jewelry exhibitions to simultaneously experience Hong Kong’s unique charm.
