The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) announced on the 5th that Hong Kong’s “Twin Jewellery Shows” will be held in early March.
The 12th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show will take place from March 2 to 6 at the AsiaWorld-Expo, showcasing various jewellery raw materials. The 42nd Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will be held from March 4 to 8 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, displaying a range of finished jewellery pieces.
This year’s “Twin Jewellery Shows” will gather approximately 4,000 exhibitors from about 40 countries and regions. Seventy percent of the exhibitors come from outside Hong Kong, with expanded participation from Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, and India. Exhibitors from Kazakhstan will participate for the first time.
According to the introduction, the World Gold Council will set up a Hard Gold Pavilion for the first time at the “Twin Jewellery Shows.” Eleven participating mainland Chinese exhibitors will showcase innovative hard gold craftsmanship to the international market, hoping to use the exhibition as a platform to “go global” and explore global business opportunities.
