The 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 has opened at the India Mandapam, inaugurated by Union Minister Jitin Prasad. This year’s edition, themed ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, highlights several Indian states as partners, with a special focus on Jharkhand.

The 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 commenced on Friday at the India Mandapam. The fair was formally inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jitin Prasad. Organized under the theme ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, the fair features Bihar, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan as Partner States, while Jharkhand has been accorded the status of Focus State.
Running until November 27, this year’s fair sees participation from 12 countries and 30 states and union territories. The total exhibition area spans 1.9 lakh square meters. 55 government departments and central ministries, along with 390 private companies, are participating.
After several years, China is once again participating in the fair, and a Defense Pavilion will be featured after a decade. The Defense Pavilion will showcase not only modern weaponry but also demonstrations by trained dog squads. However, Afghan dry fruits will not be available this year as Afghanistan is unable to participate.
Officials from the organizing body, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), stated that the first five days of the 14-day fair will be reserved for business visitors, while the remaining nine days will be open to the general public. It has been decided not to change the ticket rates this year. Tickets will be available at 55 metro stations across Delhi NCR, except for the Supreme Court station. They can also be booked via the DMRC’s Sarathi app.
For the initial five days, the ticket rate will be Rs 500 per person. During these days, children’s tickets will range from Rs 150 to Rs 200. On general days, the ticket will be Rs 80 per adult and Rs 40 per child. On weekends and holidays, the ticket price will be Rs 150 per adult and Rs 60 per child.
Package tickets are priced at Rs 1800 for the first five days, Rs 800 for the remaining nine days, and Rs 2000 for the entire 14 days. Entry is free for senior citizens and persons with disabilities upon showing valid ID on all days.
Entry to the fair will be through gates number three, four, six, and ten. The fair will be open from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM, although entry will be permitted only until 5:30 PM. Cultural programs will be held at two open amphitheaters near Halls No. 1, 2, and 5.
