Editor’s Note
The Vicenzaoro September 2025 fair highlights a pivotal evolution in jewelry, where design is becoming a sophisticated language of modularity, emotion, and technical innovation. This article explores the key trends and forecasts set to define the industry’s future.

From September 5 to 9, 2025, Vicenza will once again become the meeting point for the international watch and jewelry industry. A central highlight is the independent trend observatory Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting, led by Paola De Luca, which presents current style trends, forecasts, and market scenarios.
On Saturday, September 6, Trendvision invites to a high-caliber panel at the Palladio Theatre. Under the title “The Quantum Age. Jewelry and the Convergence of Cultural Transformations”, jewelry will be discussed as a multidimensional, cultural, and technological artifact. Contributions will come from, among others, Lebanese artist Samar Younes, Indian journalist Archana Thani, Chinese cultural consultant Helen Mao, and designer Fabio Salini, who presents entirely new concepts of jewelry using experimental materials.
On Sunday, September 7, as part of “Trends for Breakfast”, the new Trendbook 2027+ will be presented – the 23rd edition of the internationally recognized standard work for the jewelry industry. This reference work provides insights into consumer culture, market opportunities, and style forecasts up to 2027. The focus areas include precious metals, diamonds (natural and lab-grown), colored gemstones, pearls, bridal jewelry, high jewelry, and innovations. The five key themes are: Modular Core, Dynamic Movement, Coded Couture, Convergences, and Neo-Rituals.

Trendvision also presents concrete design directions for the upcoming season:
Modular Geometries: Jewelry as a stackable, interchangeable system with rings, pendants, and links that can be flexibly recombined.
Spectrum Play: Focus on color with nuanced gemstones, enamel, and layered tones, complemented by sustainable materials such as recycled plastics or micromosaics.
Silent Elegance: Minimalism with emotional depth. Fine textures, matte precious metals, and subtle diamonds stand for subtle sophistication.

Dynamic Flow: Movement as a design language, inspired by futurism and art déco, realized in kinetic forms and flexible jewelry pieces.
