This article highlights Qeelin’s latest Valentine’s Day release, part of its ongoing mission to blend Eastern cultural heritage with contemporary luxury design.

Qeelin, the fine jeweler under the Kering Group with a mission to spread the rich culture of the East to the world, has announced new jewelry pieces from its “Wulu Petite Pearl” collection for this Valentine’s Day. The brand name originates from the “Qilin,” a legendary auspicious and loving creature from Chinese mythology. Since its establishment 20 years ago, all of Qeelin’s jewelry collections, such as Wulu, Bo Bo, and Xi Xi, carry profound cultural meanings, embodying the fusion of East and West by translating traditional symbols into modern and stylish designs.
For this Valentine’s Day, Qeelin presents a red cord bracelet and pearl drop earrings, both accented with diamonds, from the “Wulu Petite Pearl” collection. These two pieces form a beautifully harmonious set that expresses love in its most poetic form. The red cord binds fate, the diamond engraves a vow, and the pearl harbors the heart.
Rooted in Eastern sensibility and reinterpreted with a contemporary perspective, this collection tells a story of destiny, purity, and eternal love.

The new jewelry draws inspiration from Qeelin’s iconic “Wulu” motif—the gourd, a universal symbol of harmony, abundance, and endless good fortune—breathing modern life into an ancient symbol. At the heart of every design lies a perfectly round Akoya pearl, prized for its iridescent glow and sculptural richness. The pearl’s form, which resonates with the Wulu’s soft curves, is delicately traced by brilliant diamonds, gently enveloping it like a whispered promise. The sparkle of diamonds, the serene luster of pearls, and the warm touch of the red cord come together, elevating the pieces into something exceptionally precious yet deeply personal for the wearer.
The red cord bracelet is inspired by the East Asian legend of the “red thread of fate,” where an invisible thread binds two destined souls across time and space. Paired with the pearl drop earrings, which conceal organic volume within their minimal lines, this set becomes a wearable declaration of love, meaningful both as a gift and for self-celebration.
