A center is being established at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), often called the capital of all knowledge, to test the quality of gemstones. The center will be started in the university’s Central Discovery Center for testing gemstones and precious stones. An amount of 3 crore 75 lakh rupees will be spent on this work, which will be used to install high-tech machines for testing these stones and gemstones here.

Soon, people will be free from this problem

In Sanatan Dharma, astrologers often advise people to wear gemstones to correct the adverse effects of planets. People buy and wear gemstones based on astrologers’ advice. However, when buying gemstones, there is often doubt in the mind about their purity—whether the expensive gemstones bought from the market are real or fake?

But soon, people will be free from this problem. A center is being established at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), often called the capital of all knowledge, to test the quality of gemstones. The center will be started in the university’s Central Discovery Center for testing gemstones and precious stones. Local businessmen will be able to get their gemstones tested at this center.

These cities have this facility

A meeting was held at the university on Thursday to provide information about this. Businessmen associated with this field were informed about it. Professor Anil Tripathi, Director of the Institute of Science, said that until now, businessmen associated with gemstone testing had to go to cities like Mumbai, Surat, and Ahmedabad. But soon, people from the entire Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and surrounding states, including Varanasi, will be able to get their gemstones tested here to find out whether the gemstone or precious stone is real or fake.

Being prepared at this cost

An amount of 3 crore 75 lakh rupees will be spent on this work, which will be used to install high-tech machines for testing these stones and gemstones here. The center is being established with the help of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. It is worth mentioning that there has been a long-standing need for such a center in Uttar Pradesh and surrounding states.
