Actress Hera Chan recently made her debut as a jewelry model, showcasing a set of natural Burmese jadeite valued at HK$8 million. The set, which included a sparkling green jadeite and diamond necklace, ring, and earrings, was worn at the press conference for the 42nd Hong Kong International Jewellery Show. The exhibition is scheduled to take place from March 4th to 8th at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai, featuring a variety of finished jewelry pieces.

This was Hera’s first time working as a gemstone model, and she expressed her newfound appreciation for jadeite’s beauty. She recalled receiving jadeite from her parents as a child but refusing it at the time because she was afraid of damaging such a valuable item.
When asked if she would accept expensive jewelry as gifts now, she stated that gifts from friends would feel too valuable and would depend on the closeness of the relationship. She indicated she would have no issue accepting gifts from family or close girlfriends.
A reporter specifically asked if she would accept a gift from her co-star, Brian Chu. In response, Hera clarified her stance on gift-giving dynamics with friends.
