This article highlights a curated week of events in Italy for collectors, showcasing the country’s diverse offerings in art, jewelry, design, and antiques.

The week of September 11-17, 2025, will host a series of events for collectors and enthusiasts, featuring activities dedicated to modern and contemporary art, jewelry, design, and antique furniture. The Italian landscape is notable for its rich offerings across different collecting fields.
Colasanti kicks off the art week with two online auctions. The first, titled “Modern and Contemporary Art Online Session,” runs from September 8 to September 17. Concurrently, the “Jewelry and Watches Online” auction will be held from September 12 to 22, an unmissable appointment for precious metal enthusiasts.
In Rome, Babuino auction house will hold its “294th General Auction” from September 15 to 30. A variety of artworks, from ancient pieces to 20th-century works, including silverware and jewelry, will dazzle and cater to the most diverse tastes.
Also on September 15, Bertolami Fine Arts will begin a three-day intense auction with its “351st Auction,” featuring coins and modern medals, awls, punches, and Masonic rarities. The auction will take place in three rounds on September 15, 16, and 17, presenting a vast array of art and objects.
September 16 will be a particularly intense day. Finarte will hold the “Tout de Suite II / Modern and Contemporary Art” auction at its Milan headquarters, focusing on 20th and 21st-century artworks. On the same day, Cambi Auction House will conclude its timed auction of “19th-20th Century Paintings.” On September 17, another timed auction by Cambi, “Antiques,” will wrap up the Italian art week, offering a final opportunity to purchase furniture and artworks from various eras.
In London, Bonhams will start the week on September 11 with “The Contents of Kerfield House” auction, selling furniture and artworks from a historic mansion.
On September 12, the focus shifts to Phillips, which will conclude its online watch auction, “Phillips Watches Online Auction,” and launch its online sale “An Eye for Editions,” running until September 23. In Vienna, Dorotheum will hold an online auction of “Antique Weapons, Uniforms, and Militaria” on September 12.
Until September 16, Christie’s in New York will host the “Rare and Fine Wines from the Masseto Collection” auction. In Paris, September 16-23 marks the “Jewelry Days” at Taïan.
The week concludes on September 17 with equally significant auctions. In London, Sotheby’s will host a high-profile evening auction, “Pauline Karpidas: The London Collection Evening Auction.” Also in the British capital, Bonhams will hold a “Danish Jewelry” auction. In New York, Christie’s will continue its Asia Week with the “South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art” auction, while Bonhams will spotlight its “Japanese and Korean Art” sale.
In Paris, Piasa will host a “French Design” auction, and Drouot will hold an “Antique and Modern Frames” auction. Finally, Vienna’s Dorotheum will close this period with two online auctions: “Folk Art, Sculpture, and Majolica” and “19th-Century Paintings and Watercolors.”
