In February 2026, Paris Packaging Week will celebrate its 25th anniversary. What began as an industry meeting for cosmetic packaging has evolved into a central European event for packaging solutions. The anniversary edition brings together established market players, new talents, and current topics such as design, innovation, and sustainability.

On February 5 and 6, 2026, the anniversary edition of Paris Packaging Week will take place in Paris. The event looks back on 25 years of development. It started in 2001 with the PCD trade fair, which focused on packaging for the cosmetics and beauty industry. Today, Paris Packaging Week is considered one of the most important meeting points for the packaging industry in Europe.

Around 900 exhibitors are expected for the anniversary edition. The trade fair is aimed at professionals from the cosmetics, luxury goods, premium beverages, and aerosol sectors. Suppliers, buyers, designers, and marketing managers use the event to exchange ideas on new materials, designs, and technical developments.

Paris Packaging Week 2026 brings together several formats under one roof. These include ADF for aerosols and dosing systems, PCD for cosmetics and perfume, PLD for premium and luxury beverages, and Packaging Première for high-quality consumer goods such as fashion, jewelry, or fine foods. The program is complemented by the Pentawards Festival, which takes place in Paris for the second time and showcases internationally award-winning packaging design.

Focus on Sustainability and Innovation

A key focus of the anniversary edition is on new and sustainable solutions. A dedicated Refill & Reuse Zone will present concepts for refillable and reusable packaging. This topic is also gaining importance against the backdrop of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).

New to the program is an evening event to kick off the trade fair. On the eve of Paris Packaging Week, the Innovation Awards Party will be held for the first time at the Pavillon Vendôme. There, projects will be honored that stand out for their special approaches and solutions in the packaging sector. The application deadline for the Innovation Awards ends on October 31, 2025.

Josh Brooks, Co-Director of the trade fair, comments on the anniversary:

“This 25th edition holds special significance for us: Everything began in 2001 with PCD for the cosmetics and beauty industry. Since then, Paris Packaging Week has steadily grown and become more diverse,” he explains. “Our goal for 2026 is to offer visitors a special experience—inspiring, connected, and forward-looking. The trade fair should reflect the development of our industry and honor the talents and innovations that will shape the packaging sector of tomorrow.”

According to the organizers, visitor numbers rose by 27 percent in 2025. Paris Packaging Week is thus continuing to develop into an international meeting point for exchange, orientation, and new impulses in the packaging industry.

Paris Packaging Week will take place on February 5 and 6, 2026, in Hall 1 of the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The opening is planned for the evening of February 4.
