Recently, Chanel launched its new high jewelry collection, ‘Reach for the Stars’. This collection was meticulously crafted by the brand’s High Jewelry Creative Studio and its director, Patrice Leguéreau. Drawing inspiration from Gabrielle Chanel’s creative spirit during her Hollywood era and the golden miracle of dusk, the collection reinterprets the brand’s three iconic symbols—the comet, wings, and lion—through combinations of diamonds and colored gemstones, paying tribute to women’s freedom, courage, and dazzling radiance.
Pieces inspired by the comet, such as ‘Blazing Star’ and ‘Dazzling Star’, outline extended trajectories with gold and onyx, with streamlined shapes adorned with diamond pendants, freezing the moment of a celestial body’s fall into a landscape for the neck. Meanwhile, the ‘Dreams Come True’ necklace draws from the neckline silhouette of haute couture gowns, recreating the soft glow of the night sky with diamonds.
