Editor’s Note
Vicenzaoro has announced the finalists for its inaugural VO Awards, recognizing outstanding creativity, innovation, sustainability, and craftsmanship among exhibitors. An international jury has selected 24 pieces to advance to the final stage, with the finalists’ work to be displayed in a dedicated exhibition space.
Vicenzaoro presents the finalists for the first edition of the VO Awards, the official awards of the trade show dedicated to celebrating the creativity, innovation, sustainability, and manufacturing excellence of its exhibitors. In total, 24 pieces of jewelry have been selected by the international technical jury for the final stage of the competition.
The finalist jewelry pieces will be exhibited in a special space located in the lounge of Hall 7 during Vicenzaoro January 2026, the international reference event organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), which will be held from January 16 to 20 at the Vicenza exhibition grounds. In addition to the jury’s evaluation, buyers and visitors will be able to vote for their favorite pieces via QR code from Friday, January 16 until the morning of Sunday, January 18.
The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday at 18:30 at the Teatro Palladio.
This first edition of the VO Awards recognizes creations from the ICON (high jewelry), LOOK (contemporary jewelry), and CREATION (gold and silver manufacturing) communities. The jury has selected three finalists in each of the eight categories, including two special categories: one dedicated to chains, an emblematic element of the Italian goldsmithing tradition, and another reserved for young talents under 30 years old.
The voting system combines expert evaluation—which represents 70% of the final result—with a sector vote, designed to foster direct dialogue between product and market. This “popular” vote involves buyers, companies, associations, institutions, and specialized media.
With the VO Awards, Vicenzaoro reinforces its exclusive format, The Jewellery Boutique Show, which brings together a curated selection of Italian and international excellence across the entire value chain, organized by homogeneous communities and strategically connected with buyers from over 140 consolidated and emerging markets.
