BOUCHERON Overview

Boucheron is a French high-end jewelry brand founded in 1858 and was the first high jeweler to open a boutique on Place Vendôme in Paris. It began its business in Japan in 1973 and currently operates 19 stores across the country. On September 8, 2023, it opened the “Boucheron Ginza Main Store” as its largest flagship store, second only to its Paris flagship.

“This new boutique serves as a bridge between France and Japan, offering a special space where both cultures can be felt throughout.”

The boutique spans four floors and boasts an area of approximately 1,000 square meters, making it the brand’s largest store.

Background of Attracting the “Boucheron Ginza Main Store”

JMF Building Ginza Chuo-dori 01 is located in a highly convenient area with excellent transportation access, approximately a 5-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, Ginza Line, and Hibiya Line “Ginza Station,” and about a 1-minute walk from the Yurakucho Line “Ginza-itchome Station.” Furthermore, it faces Ginza Chuo-dori, the most prominent street within the Ginza area—a representative commercial district in central Tokyo known for its concentration of long-established department stores and luxury brand flagship stores. The immediate vicinity of this property is particularly notable for its cluster of high jewelry retailers.

“The opening of the ‘Boucheron Ginza Main Store’ is expected to become a symbolic store for this property as the largest flagship store of a world-renowned high jewelry brand in Japan, and is also anticipated to contribute to the revitalization of the Ginza area.”

This investment trust identified the characteristics of the Ginza area and tenant trends around the property, leading to leasing activities targeting luxury brands, which culminated in this opening.
