Recently, new information related to the Aadhaar card has emerged, which has become essential for all cardholders to know. In fact, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has now prepared a new design for the Aadhaar card. In its new format, the card will be made more secure and technologically advanced. In the new Aadhaar card being prepared by UIDAI, only your photo and a secure QR code will be clearly visible.
Personal information such as name, address, and Aadhaar number will not be directly printed on the card.
The new design is considered to be much more secure and privacy-friendly compared to the traditional card.
The old design of the Aadhaar card was often becoming a cause of data theft and misuse.
In many cases, photocopies of the card were misused, leading to increased risks of identity fraud and cybercrime.
UIDAI wants to ensure that Aadhaar data is accessed only through authorized applications and verification systems. This will enhance identity security and strengthen the digital identity system.
When this new Aadhaar design is implemented, cardholders will be able to verify their identity by scanning the QR code through existing and new Aadhaar apps.
Sharing digitally will be easier and safer, and the need to show a physical copy of the card will be reduced.
Many services such as banking, mobile SIM, hotel check-in, etc., will only allow verification via QR scan.
UIDAI will also introduce a new mobile app, enabling digital identity and private data to be shared securely.
