Masterpieces Representing the Final Phase of the 2024 Blue Book

Tiffany & Co. announces the third and final phase of the launch of the Blue Book 2024: Tiffany “Céleste,” with new masterpieces from this iconic high jewelry collection. The collection will also be presented in Madrid at an exclusive event taking place this Autumn. This collection celebrates the boundless imagination of Jean Schlumberger and his fascination with the mysteries of the universe.

A Tribute to Jean Schlumberger

Nathalie Verdeille, Artistic Director of Jewelry and High Jewelry at Tiffany, pays tribute to the works of the legendary Tiffany & Co. designer Jean Schlumberger in four new chapters: Owl on a Rock, Phoenix, Unicorn, and Star Burst. Each chapter reinterprets an iconic creation by Jean Schlumberger, including his most emblematic Tiffany & Co. design: the Bird on a Rock.

“Each chapter began with an intensive study of the pieces or themes that inspired him. For the autumn launch of Tiffany Céleste, the Star Burst, Phoenix, Owl on a Rock, and Unicorn chapters reference archival masterpieces by Jean Schlumberger, such as his Phoenix brooch,” said Nathalie Verdeille. “Each new design is an ode to the boundless creativity of Jean Schlumberger.”
Owl on a Rock

Owl on a Rock is a modern twist on Jean Schlumberger’s iconic Bird on a Rock, featuring a nocturnal bird perched on a “moon rock.” Black opals, moonstones, tanzanites, and celestial star sapphires capture the look and feel of the moon and night sky in this collection, where every detail designed on the owl has a distinct personality and character that complements the precious stone it perches on.

Phoenix

Reincarnating the fascinating Phoenix brooch by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany, Phoenix is a representation of the mythological bird that symbolizes rebirth by bursting into flames and rising from its ashes, gaining new life. The name “phoenix” derives from an ancient Greek word describing a fiery red color, which speaks to the precious stones featured in this theme. A brooch and a ring each feature an extraordinary fire opal with Umba sapphires, while other designs feature rubellites, emblematic of the phoenix’s flame hues. An exceptional necklace features 17 cushion-cut rubellites totaling over 73 carats.

Unicorn

Another masterpiece is the unicorn, a mythical creature that captivated Jean Schlumberger’s imagination, particularly its striking spiral horn. This theme is inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s Crazy Twist designs, highlighting diamond-inlaid twists with rich purple and pink sapphires. This chapter features an extraordinarily imaginative Unicorn brooch showcasing an undeniably magical bicolor cushion-cut tourmaline of over 25 carats.

Star Burst

The Star Burst chapter is an ode to galaxies with high stellar activity, among the most luminous in the universe. These designs exhibit brilliant luminosity, including a necklace with six oval cabochon Crystal opals totaling over 64 carats and diamonds.
