The debut of the Dreame AURORA phone on a national broadcast like the CCTV Lunar New Year Gala marks a significant moment for luxury tech, blending high-end craftsmanship with mainstream cultural visibility. This appearance highlights the growing intersection of consumer electronics and premium design on a global stage.

On February 16th, during the CCTV 2026 Lunar New Year Gala official program “Next Stop Gala,” a phone named Dreame AURORA made a stunning appearance, becoming the focal point of the stage with its ultimate luxury craftsmanship.
According to reports, the phone is positioned for the global luxury market. The red “Luxury Ring Secret Realm” model, the same as the one featured in the Gala, emphasizes top-tier scarce materials and masterful carving techniques. Its back panel uses European top-grain calfskin treated with a crimson snakeskin process, which reconstructs the snake scale pattern while preserving the leather’s original texture, making each unit unique.
The “AURORA” brand logo at the bottom of the body is made of solid gold, hand-polished by artisans and seamlessly integrated with the genuine leather back panel. The most eye-catching part is the camera module. Its outer rim uses 18K gold as the base and employs jewelry-grade channel setting technology to tightly arrange 50 high-quality natural diamonds, making it a collectible-grade artwork.
This debut on a national stage not only showcases Dreame’s craftsmanship capabilities in the high-end manufacturing field but also lays a brand foundation for its subsequent entry into the global market.
In recent years, China’s smartphone industry has gradually become saturated. Although the market size of China’s smartphone industry exceeded 900 billion yuan in 2023, the compound annual growth rate over the past four years was only 2.7%. Preliminary estimates suggest that with the return of Huawei’s high-end flagship phones in 2024, the market size of China’s smartphone industry will recover and grow to over 980 billion yuan.
Looking at price trends, according to the latest report data, the market share of high-end smartphones priced over $600 (with the domestic market standard being over 4,000 RMB) in China has been continuously increasing in recent years. In 2023, this share exceeded 27%, an increase of 3.7 percentage points compared to 2022. Meanwhile, the market share of low-end smartphones priced below $200 in China has also seen a recovery.
