Silver prices have once again made history. According to the All India Sarafa Association, silver in Delhi continued its rally for the fourth consecutive session and surged by ₹19,500, or 5.06 percent, to a record ₹4,04,500 per kilogram (including all taxes). Silver had closed at ₹3,85,000 per kg on Wednesday. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver futures for March delivery, extending gains for the fifth consecutive day, rose by ₹24,434, or 6.34 percent, to a new record high of ₹4,09,800 per kg. In the last five trading sessions, silver has risen by ₹91,308, or nearly 29 percent, from ₹3,18,492 per kg (closing price) recorded on January 21. Silver has reached ₹4 lakh from ₹3 lakh in just 8 trading days. In overseas trade, spot silver rose by $3.59, or 3.07 percent, to an all-time high of $120.45 per ounce. Meanwhile, according to a report by Goodreturns, today’s silver price was recorded at ₹4,10,000 per kg. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), silver’s price stood at ₹3,79,988 per kg by market close on Thursday. What Was Silver’s Price the Previous Day?

The rally in silver prices continued in Delhi on Wednesday. Both reached new peaks amid a weak US dollar and strong sentiment in global markets. According to market experts, silver gained for the third consecutive day, rising by ₹15,000 or 4.05 percent to ₹3,85,000 (including all taxes) per kg. In the previous session, it was at ₹3,70,000 per kg, while on Friday it was at ₹3,29,500 per kg. In foreign markets, silver prices rose by 0.12 percent to $112.22 per ounce. On Monday, it had surged by $14.42 or 14 percent to a new record level of $117.73 per ounce.

Silver Futures Price the Previous Day

The record rally in silver prices continued on Wednesday, with futures trading rising over seven percent to an all-time high of ₹3.83 lakh per kg. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), futures price for silver contracts for March delivery surged by ₹26,821 or 7.53 percent to a record ₹3,83,100 per kg. In international markets, futures price for silver contracts for March delivery on COMEX rose by $9.57 or 9.03 percent to $115.52 per ounce.

What Do Experts Say?
“Silver is showing sustained strong bullish momentum, and prices are finding new reasons to move higher every day.”

According to news agency PTI-Bhasha, HDFC Securities senior analyst Saumil Gandhi said that investment demand for these precious metals is increasing as a safe haven, primarily due to rising global tensions and trade-related uncertainties. In the international market, the dollar index remained weak, providing further support to gold and silver prices.

“After a sharp fall in the dollar, investors turning to safe-haven investments pushed silver prices to around $115 per ounce.”

According to news agency PTI-Bhasha, Jigar Trivedi, senior research analyst at Indsec Securities, said.
