Petrolimex Dak Lak Company Limited has actively developed plans for goods storage and transportation, while remaining committed to preventing fuel shortages in the local area.
According to Petrolimex Dak Lak Company Limited, the supply of goods from upstream suppliers is currently very stable. A commitment has been made to complete customs clearance procedures quickly and efficiently to meet demand before, during, and after the Lunar New Year (Tet).
The company’s warehouses are ensuring sufficient fuel supply to meet consumer demand during the Tet holidays.
By the end of February 12th (the 25th day of the 12th lunar month), fuel stock at petrol stations in Dak Lak province had reached 70% of their capacity. It is expected that by the 29th day of the Lunar New Year (February 16th), stock will exceed 80%, ensuring ample fuel availability in case of increased demand. Furthermore, distribution centers have maintained sufficient reserves of three key products to handle emergencies: RON 95 III petrol (125 cubic meters), 0.05S II diesel (51 cubic meters), and 0.001SV diesel (74 cubic meters).
Based on assessments of product consumption demand, Petrolimex Dak Lak has maintained a precise balance between its transportation capacity and consumer demand. With a total operational vehicle capacity of 1,430 cubic meters (after deducting vehicles on Tet holiday), the unit’s transportation capacity fully meets consumption needs and also maintains an additional capacity of 30-280 cubic meters depending on the time.
Additionally, the unit has already developed contingency plans for abnormal situations. Specifically, to prevent local stock shortages in the province’s central areas or communes with large areas and populations, the company has prepared flexible solutions, such as: prioritizing supplementary supply orders and using return vehicles to increase transportation efficiency; requesting supply from the main warehouse even during holidays to reduce inventory pressure; flexibly transferring goods during transportation; utilizing goods at distribution centers or establishing coordination between nearby stores. In the event of an unforeseen incident, the company will increase the number of transport vehicles from nearby warehouses.
In particular, by the end of the 29th day of the Lunar New Year, petrol stations located in the central area of the province will have already increased the stock of petrol in their vehicles to meet the public’s sudden surge in demand.
