Executive Commentary
“Christie’s were proud to present The Eden Rose this spring, an extraordinary gem which had never before been offered at auction. The 10.20 carat Fancy Intense Pink Internally Flawless gem surpassed all expectations, fetching an impressive $13.3 million, well beyond its high estimate. Collectors participated actively in all areas of the sale, paying strong prices for rare colored gemstones and natural pearls in particular. We look forward to the end of our spring jewelry sale season with New York Jewels Online and Joaillerie Paris both taking place in June.”
