Amal Clooney is visiting our country without her famous husband, as the reason for her trip is not the premiere of the actor’s latest work or a film awards ceremony. On Thursday, June 22, the Teatro EDP Gran Vía in Madrid hosted the We Choose Earth Tour event, which featured two participations by the lawyer, where she spoke about the inexorable link between the fulfillment of human rights and the creation of environmentally respectful societies. But besides intelligence, elegance is another of her many gifts, as she never fails to look flattering, and she has demonstrated this with this dazzling golden statuette style.
For her presentation in Madrid, Amal opted for an ideal work look that could also be worn as a guest to a wedding or special date: this asymmetric neckline jumpsuit with draped details on the abdomen and a false tie that cinches the waist, highlighting her worked hourglass silhouette. Its silky crepe fabric oscillates, depending on the impact of light, between gold and different shades of yellow, such as ochre or mustard.
Matching the dazzling fabric of the suit, she chose gold leather pumps with transparent PVC details, the Plexi 105 model by Gianvito Rossi (€620-434), which further elongates her slender figure due to the very fine toe effect that visually lengthens her feet.

In her right hand, George Clooney’s wife holds the Mini Floflo bag in black crocodile-embossed leather, by Giambattista Valli (€1,600), which features striking gold hardware and a padlock pendant engraved with the discreet logo of the brand, one of Amal’s favorites. But her golden statuette look was not, however, what shone brightest during her walk along the popular Madrid street.
Amal Clooney maintains a close relationship with Cartier, whose philosophy focuses on female empowerment and ethical High Jewelry manufacturing, and recently served as host in Paris for the event The Cartier’s Women Initiative: Forces For Good Awards, so it is not surprising that she opted for spectacular creations from this jewelry house.
