Editor’s Note
This month, Artcurial prepares to host France’s first-ever auction dedicated entirely to the art of pastry. Bringing together 25 top chefs under the guidance of Pierre Hermé, the event celebrates the creativity and craftsmanship of haute pâtisserie while paying tribute to the wonder of childhood. The lots will be on display from November 27, with the auction taking place on December 1.

On December 1, 2025, Artcurial will organize a “high pastry” auction. This initiative, unprecedented in France, will bring together 25 pastry chefs, united around Pierre Hermé. As a tribute to childhood, its capacity to dream and inspire, it celebrates the excellence, creativity, and generosity of the profession. The lots will be exhibited at Artcurial from November 27 to December 1, before the auction which will be held that day at 8 PM.
The proceeds from this charity sale will be donated to the BAB Charity association, founded by Alexandre Bader, General Manager of the Champagne Billecart-Salmon house. It works for the well-being and fulfillment of children with leukemia hospitalized at the Armand Trousseau hospital in Paris. Since its foundation in 2009, it has notably invested more than 2 million euros in the creation and renovation of sterile rooms.
For this sale, each pastry chef was invited to create an ephemeral work, an original creation, or an exclusive experience to live. Among the lots, gourmets can acquire an experience for 4 people with chef Nina Métayer, which will include a pastry workshop, a visit, and a tasting at the Laboratoire de la Délicatesserie in Issy-les-Moulineaux (starting price: 2,000 euros).
Cédric Grolet will offer, with a starting price of 4,000 euros, a photograph from the Patrick Rougereau & Cédric Grolet collection and a tea time at the Meurice hotel in Paris. Finally, Cyril Lignac will offer a pyramid of 85 Guimauve Bear candies and a visit to the filming of the show ‘Le Meilleur Pâtissier’ (starting price: 4,000 euros).
